Hosts Giant Yard Sale
Grace Presbyterian Parking Lot
Friendship House will be hosting a giant yard and craft sale in the parking lot of Grace Presbyterian Church from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds from the yard sale will go into our Scholarship Fund to provide tuition help for those who are financially unable to pay all of the $650 monthly tuition.
Friendship House is a day program for individuals with low and moderate disability. The program seeks to integrate community volunteering, life skills, field trips, recreation, and team building in a Christian environment.
Donations to the yard sale may be dropped off at the Grace Presbyterian Fellowship Hall on the west side of the church between Wednesday, April 28 and Friday, May 14. Cash donations may be made on the day of the yard sale or through Permian Basin Gives on May 18. Abel-Hanger Foundation has generously given us a dollar for dollar matching grant for donations from individuals, up to $10,000.
PLEASE…in order to give us a chance to set up, we will not allow early sales. Items donated so far include chairs, washer and dryer set, Christmas décor, a table and chairs, lots of clothes, and other miscellaneous items. Starting at noon, we will allow our trash bags to be filled with your choice of clothing for $50. The bag must tie at the top when finished and cannot tear.
